Make your diving more exciting using dive log

Diving log was at first introduced in the qualifications program of a large amount dive agencies in reply to the call for better safety. Keeping record of things like depth, bottom time, and surface intervals was a vital course to plan recurring dives. Over the time, with the increasing popularity of diving, logbook has evolved and has more and more also become a journal, a good way for the divers to record their memories, where they have dived, the marine life and also the people they have dived with and much more. Here are some reasons why you want to use a dive log.

Record of dives for later training: Whether you are fascinated in practical diving or aim to be a pro in the future, its good idea to have a dive log showcasing your dive experiences to move to the next level. Many dive shops will even ask you to see past dive logs before they take you to advanced dive sites where experience really matters

Track how much you breathe: everyone wants to spend as much time under the ocean. The limits are determined by how fast you breathe your air. It may interest you to see how relax you’re over time and that’s only possible when use a dive log.

A journal of your diving adventures to show the community: when come back from your holiday vibrating with the great times you had in diving, there must be some records that will inspire it even more. Open your Iphone and show off all the dive logs with your photos and you don’t have to remember all the answers like 'how deep, how long, how warm and so on.

Comparison of dive sites: do you want to know the best dive site you dived in this year? Save your brain some work and just look around your dive logs to find that memorable place.  All those photos of underwater marine life, that lucky manta ray sighting, weather condition, current at sea and much more will help you determine it.

Above are just some of my opinions about using dive log when there are many more reasons that will make your diving more pleasurable. Don’t know where to use a dive log? There are hundreds of dive log sites online and you can always ask the diving instructor for help.
